Local BCON Benefits:
The BCON organization will provide member Houses of Worship and associations the following:
- Systematic training for leaders and potential leaders on concepts and skills necessary for more effective public action and participation.
- A network of allies from other like-hearted and like-minded Communities, faiths, denominations, and groups for issues that affect a specific House of Worship.
Countywide BCON Benefits:
BCON will provide a network for local Houses of Worship to share concerns, ideas, and experiences with other House of Worship and associations throughout Baltimore County who are committed to the transformation and enrichment of all residents in Baltimore County.
State BCON Benefits:
- BCON will be part of a statewide network of IAF Affiliates-Montgomery County, and Baltimore City.
- Ally with MD-IAF in presenting a shared vision for the State of Maryland.
- Workshops and training opportunities. Materials to assist local Houses of Worship in becoming more effective in public action and participation.
- Access to best practices, and ideas about effective ministries in bringing about justice.
